How long have you been in business?
We originally opened our doors in the Mason, Michigan area in 1992.
What is your primary product or service?
We offer commercial and residential cleaning services. Our services are unique because we found some amazing products and equipment that get the job done like nothing I've ever seen before...and they are safe for people and our planet. That is important to us. We don't just want to clean, we want to clean in a way that is healthy and safe for our customers.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I've always wanted to be a business owner, and I wanted a business that provided a service that gave customers happiness, peace of mind, and some personal freedom. Magic Maids was the perfect fit. I also wanted to offer a work environment for my employees that made them look forward to coming to work each day.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I think the most important thing that makes us different is that we offer a deep cleaning experience and maintain that deep cleaned feel for our clients. We are not afraid to dig in and get dirty! In addition, we travel to reach many locations, where other services are not willing to travel. Last, and probably most important, we feature cleaning products that are organice, safe for people, pets, and the planet. That is very important to us. Cleaning has changed a lot over the years. When we started in the early 90's, we used toxic poison to clean with. Not anymore! I am proud of our progress and pleased to offer our amazing service to others.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently service the Greater Lansing, Battle Creek, Kalamazoo and Jackson areas from two locations: Mason, Michigan and Battle Creek, Michigan. We have a pretty large radius that we travel to.

What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, check, Mastercard and Visa at the current time. We may expand if the need arises.
Which areas do you service?
We currently service the Greater Lansing, Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, and Jackson areas and their surrounding locations. We have a large radius, so if you are interested in our service, the best thing to do is call and find out if we travel to your area. Chances are, we do.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Magic Maids was originally started by myself in 1992. In 2009, I brought in a partner, Amanda, who is running the operations in the Battle Creek/Kalamazoo areas.
What are your hours of operation?
Our office is available Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm. We typically conduct our cleaning services Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, but we do offer Saturday cleaning at a premium rate. Our commercial cleaning is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
